AdSense Video Units Reaches Australia and Japan

Here is an announcement from Google adsense team for publishers in Japan or Australia. Now you are able to put video units into your website or blogs.
Video units are already available in countries like US, UK, Canada, Ireland. With this launch, video units reached Australia and Japan as well.

Video units are customizable video players which you can embed into your website. The video unit contains ads on video. Video units may display two types of ads-

1: Text overlay ads, which are displayed in the bottom 20% of the video as it plays.

2: Companion ads, which appear above the video content within the player

This launch also let you show videos from our YouTube content partners on your site or you can have your own video content. In later case, you have to sign up as a YouTube partner to distribute your contents to other AdSense publishers' video units.

To add video units to your website, Just login into adsense account, if your country is in the list of supported countries for video units. You will see the option to setup video units.
